Mail Domain Dashboard (Summary)
Navigate to: Main Menu > Mail domains > Click on a specific Domain Name.
The Summary tab acts as the central control panel for your email hosting service. It provides the essential server addresses needed to configure email clients (like Outlook, Thunderbird, or Apple Mail) and allows you to access your mail via the web.
1. Connection Details
This section provides the standard protocols for sending and receiving email:
- SMTP server address: The outgoing mail server (used for sending).
- POP3 / IMAP server address: The incoming mail servers (used for receiving).
- Tip: Use IMAP if you want to sync email across multiple devices (phone, laptop, web). Use POP3 if you want to download messages to a single device and remove them from the server.
- Web mail address: Click this link to open the browser-based email client, allowing you to check your email from anywhere without installing software.
2. Usage & Plan
- Mailboxes: The bar graph on the right shows how many email accounts you have created versus the limit allowed by your plan.
- CHANGE SUBSCRIPTION: Click this button to migrate your mail domain to a different hosting package.
Requirement: You can only migrate if the new plan has a mailbox limit equal to or greater than the number of mailboxes you are currently using.
3. Management
- MAILBOXES: A shortcut to the tab where you create and manage individual email accounts (e.g.,
info@yoursite.com).
- DELETE MAIL DOMAIN: Removes the email service for this domain. This deletes all mailboxes and messages but does not delete the website or the domain registration itself.
