How to Create a Virtual Server (VPS)
The process of creating a Virtual Server (VPS) is fully automated. In most cases, your server will be ready within a few minutes after submitting the form. However, depending on security checks or specific configuration requirements, it may occasionally take longer.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, you must have a purchased Virtual Server subscription available in your account.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Navigate to Creation Page
- Log in to the control panel.
- In the main left-hand menu, expand the Virtual servers section.
- Click on Create virtual server.
- Configure Your Server
Fill in the required fields:
- Subscription: Select the VPS package you purchased from the dropdown list.
- Server location: Choose your preferred datacenter region, or leave it as "Automatic selection" for the best available option.
- Operating system: Select the OS you wish to install (e.g., Windows Server, Ubuntu, etc.).
- Server name: Enter a unique hostname for your server.
- Description: (Optional) Add notes to help you identify this server later.
- Create
- Click the CREATE VIRTUAL SERVER button.
- Please be patient, as the provisioning process may take several minutes.
Processing Time & Delays
While usually instant, the setup time can depend on several factors:
- Security Verification: The security department may hold the process temporarily to verify the user's identity.
- Resource Allocation: Large or complex server configurations may require a brief period for resource allocation.
Once the setup process is completed, your server will appear in the Virtual servers list, and you will be able to start managing your server.
